Il Casuccio is a lovely country house set in a small hamlet located in a peaceful corner of San Mommè, a tiny village 550 metres up in the cool leafy valley of the Ombrone. It’s a perfect location for those seeking to avoid the bustle of town life. From the house you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and the silence of the chestnut woods. You can sit in the shade of ancient oak-trees that surround the swimming pool. The garden is equipped with a barbecue, allowing you to eat out while enjoying the fragrance of the lavender in the privacy afforded by the surrounding woodlands. The village is only 12 km away from Pistoia and is therefore an excellent base from which to explore the major towns of Tuscany such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena, all of which are in easy reach. The tranquil, unhurried life of the village will allow you to unwind.
